Atlantic American Partner’s director of global business development, Opening doors for immigrant Investors

Rosie Roden, a Brazilian executive, joined Atlantic American Partners in 2016 as Director of Global Business Development. She is originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and has extensive experience working in Latin America, Asia and Europe. Rosie completed her Master’s degree in Public Administration and Management from Harvard University and her Bachelor of Arts and Science degree from the University of California at Berkeley. Prior to joining Atlantic American, Rosie served as Director of Business Development for a prominent Orlando-based law firm that provides a variety of immigration-related services to corporate and individual clients around the world. Rosie is an active member of the Brazilian / American Chamber of Commerce and the Harvard Alumni Association in Florida and a member of the UN Human Security and Education Forum for Latin America.

Atlantic American Partners is part of a 44 year old investment bank (CEA Worldwide) headquartered in Tampa. They act as a private equity fund manager, investing on behalf of institutional investors such as banks, insurance companies, pension funds, etc. However, there was a need in the market for a product for the immigrant investor, of institutional quality, while also creating a diversified investment fund with criteria that offered professional structure, security and an excellent investment option.
Many countries, such as Australia, Canada, France, the US and others, offer residence and citizenship programs to investors. In a globalized world, having a second citizenship can be very advantageous.
In the United States, investor visas have become very popular among individuals and families interested in permanent residency and who want a second citizenship. Why the US? For starters the U.S offers a stable economy, better opportunities for education, tranquility for retirement, and its location is still within distance to South America.
Atlantic American Partners has sponsored immigrant investor projects since 2010 and successfully completed 28 EB-5 projects – investing more than $ 300 million in EB-5 capital and has helped more than 500 families from 25 countries obtain residency in the United States.
Through its extensive network, its analysts review more than 300 projects each year and select only a few that best meets the requirements of the permanent residence program for the immigrant investor, while also providing a secure investment and allowing for a generous profit. They select only projects sponsored by leading US builders that invest real cash in the projects. In each of our projects Atlantic American Partners holds 2 board seats with veto power and controls the key issues that affect our investors such as, decisions that affect job creation, immigration status, decisions that affect the value of the asset and the timing of a sale or exit. In addition, we structure an exit on each project to occur five years after the initial investment, so that we can return capital to our investors after they have received their permanent visa.
